CAREinMIND Mental Health Services

RelateWell is a Commonwealth service provider of mental health contracted services

CAREinMIND Mental Health Counselling

RelateWell provides mental health services under the CAREinMIND Targeted Psychological Support Services in North Western Melbourne.

In doing so, the organisation and its clinical staff have been approved and verified by the Melbourne Primary Care Network, trading as North Western Melbourne PHN (NWMPHN), to deliver a range of counselling services  underpinned by sound business practice and sound governance.

CAREinMIND Mental Health Services is an Australian Government program which provides effective psychological treatment for people with a mental illness whom otherwise would not be able to access clinical services.

Eligible people can access up to 12 individual sessions per calendar year with our organisation.

There are no out-of-pocket expenses for eligible people via the CAREinMIND program.

Referral process

Referring GPs/Paediatricians/Psychiatrists must provide both a completed CAREinMIND referral data form and mental health treatment plan or comprehensive assessment, when referring to CAREinMIND services (NB: An exception is the Suicide Prevention Service, which does not require a mental health treatment plan).

To receive this service from our organisation, at the time of referral, your GP must nominate one of our psychologists as their preferred provider.
