The Enhanced Maternal and Child Health (EMCH) program provides intensive support to parents and families with additional needs. Through our partnership with the Merri‑bek City Council, we offer targeted psychological support to families referred by EMCH nurses.

Our role is to provide flexible, responsive mental health interventions that complement the work of the Enhanced team. When a referral is received, we deliver psychological therapy tailored to the family’s presenting needs and vulnerabilities, offering both face‑to‑face sessions and telehealth options (video or telephone).

Working within this collaborative service space strengthens our shared commitment to ensuring vulnerable families in the Merri‑bek municipality can access timely, appropriate, and accessible mental health support during the significant postpartum period. The EMCH program identifies families who may benefit from additional measures and interventions, and our organisation provides the psychological component of that support when required.
